Get Involved with the Arts Alliance!

There are many ways to get involved with the Arts Alliance. Thanks for your interest, we'd love to have your help!  Volunteers can receive discounts on classes. Please read our volunteer policy, above, for more information.

We encourage you to become a member.  Join the 100+ others and help us keep a strong presence
in the community.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

• We are in need of more members to participate on the board. Please contact us for more information about how you can be involved: (208) 265-4303.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

• Education Committee: This group supports our educational programs. Possible activities involve: helping with art activities, picking up art supplies, putting up posters & flyers, studio maintenance.
• Festival at Sandpoint Espresso Booth: We need volunteers to staff the booth (no experience necessary; free admission), plus booth coffee baristas (free admission, experience required).

  

• Events Committee: This group makes each event happen. Events include the Solstice Celebration, the Gear Swap, Outdoor Film Night, the Holiday Art Soiree & more.  Possible activities involve: helping with art activities, setting up/taking down the event, running errands, staffing the event as a volunteer, & more. Special talents welcome!
• Fundraising Commitee: This group designs & executes fundraising efforts, including the Big Fat Raffle, sponsorship, membership support & more.  Work directly with board & staff.

ARTIST OPPORTUNITIES:

• Teach a class or workshop through the Arts Alliance
• Network with other artists through the Arts Alliance
• Volunteer in a class, through our Artist in Residence program or at one of our public events
• Participate in the Holiday Art Soiree, December 11-12, 2009
• Design and/or create art as part of our special events
• Create a bench for the Studio
• Contribute art for raffling off at one of our special events
