ANNUAL EVENTS
-
SOLSTICE CELEBRATION - during Summer Solstice, close to June 21 At the Granary block, between Church and Oak St, at 6th Avenue. Each year, the Solstice Celebration is a community party with arts events, activities, music, storytelling and more. The block becomes alive with activity: a collection of artist vendors sell handmade works, professional artists host demonstrations and activities, and musicians and performers celebrate their talents. Join us for two days of fun!
- ARTS ALLIANCE ANNUAL MEETING - June
Open to all members and interested parties, the annual meeting is a time to review the past and future of the organization. Officers are elected on the board, the year's accomplishments are presented, and the strategic plan is reviewed. We encourage you to join us to participate in steering the organization in the right direction.
- COFFEE BOOTH - August
At the Festival at Sandpoint This year the Arts Alliance began an annual tradition of hosting a coffee booth at the Festival at Sandpoint. In 2007, we made about $3500 in profit, thanks to donations from businesses - especially Cafe Doma in Coeur d'Alene, Monarch Mountain Coffee and Eichardt's Pub - and help from many volunteers. Be sure to stop by next year!
